Ayodhya Ram Mandir : Ayodhya is a city situated on the banks of river Sarayu in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. On the premises of Lord Ram Janmabhoomi, the site of his birth, a Hindu temple is being built in Ayodhya. The Mandir is being constructed using Bharat's traditional and indigenous technology. With a 70-acre site intended to be environmentally friendly, the construction process is focused on conserving water and the environment. The newly constructed Ram Mandir will span 380 feet from east to west and will feature five mandaps (Halls)-
- Nritya Mandap- The hall used for dance performances and other cultural events.
- Rang Mandap - This hall is used for performing religious rituals and other ceremonies.
- Sabha Mandap - The hall is mainly used for congregational gatherings and meetings.
- Prarthana Mandap - As the name says "Prarthana", the hall is used for prayer and meditation.
- Kirtan Mandap - All devotional singing and music will take place in this Kirtan Mandap or hall and Shri Ram Darbar will be on the first floor.
Along with 121 other Brahmins from throughout the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji will carry out the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22, 2024, guided by Pandit Laxmikant Dixit. The ceremony will be performed during the Abhijeet Muhurat. The auspicious time for the Ram idol installation will start from 12:20 pm -12:30pm. After the idol installation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji will perform the first Aarti of Lord Ram ji.
Start date for the seven-day rituals: January 16, 2024 – January 22, 2024.Following that, devotees will be able to perform the Lord Rama Aarti in the temple.
The full schedule for the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir will be like-
Day1
January 16, 2024: The Grand Mahotsav will start from January 16, 2024. On this first day, the idol will be taken to the city tour.
Day 2
January 17, 2024: The ceremony of Pran Pratishtha will start after the prayer of Lord Ganesha.
Day 3
January 18, 2024: The process of consecration of life will begin on this day. All other puja's like Mandap entry pujam, vastu puja and varun puja will be done on this auspicious day.
Day 4
January 19, 2024: The Ram Mandir will prepare the Yagya Fire on this day, and the Priest will light it with mantras and other special methods.
Day 5
January 20, 2024: The sanctum sanctorum of Ram Mandir will be consecrated with 81 Kalash, which will be filled with water drawn from various rivers. On this auspicious day, there will also be Vastu peace rituals performed.
Day 6
January 21, 2024: On this auspicious day, Ram Lalla will take bath and Yagya will be performed on the same day as well.
Day 7
January 22, 2024: The holy day has finally arrived, for which a great deal of devotees have been waiting for a long time. On this sacred day, Consecration will take place under the Mrigashira Nakshatra.
